I discovered my passion for Speech-Language Pathology after working as a teacher. I realized I could combine my love of teaching, language, communication, and connection. In the classroom, I saw firsthand how communication skills can impact a child’s ability to learn, connect with others, and participate meaningfully. My background in education gives me a unique perspective when supporting children, allowing me to connect their goals to school readiness and literacy while helping them apply new skills across different settings and situations.

I chose to work at Pathways because I was drawn to its family-centred approach to therapy. I am passionate about all aspects of communication and love working with families to help make therapy meaningful in everyday life.

I became a Speech Language Pathologist because I recognize the impact that communication can have on a person’s relationships, independence, and overall well-being. The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the everyday lives of others is what continues to inspire me.

I chose to work at Pathways Therapy Services because I was drawn to its client-centered and collaborative approach to therapy. I enjoy working with individuals with diverse communication needs and value the opportunity to provide personalized support that reflects each client’s unique goals and needs.
